Indonesia is the fourth largest exporter of coffee in the world. It is a large chain of islands and Sumatra is one of the most famous of these islands and produces many specialty coffees. This Certified Organic Gayo co-op coffee itself is one of the most consumed coffees from the Indonesian island of Sumatra. It has a strong aroma and mild sweetness. It has an array of earthy spices that mix agreeably with a syrupy body and notes of dark chocolate, caramels and black tea. This is a great coffee!

Truly delicious, fresh-roasted coffee!

Truly delicious, fresh-roasted coffee! Opening up my monthly subscription delivery and opening that first bag up is my favorite smell. Every one of my guests that have tried the Organic Indonesian Sumatra Dark Roast agree with me on how delicious it is. I will never go back to store bought brands as long as Papa Rob is roasting these highly quality beans.

Perfect Coffee!

We love the Sumatra dark roast! It’s not bitter or too strong, makes a perfect cup every time. We like to mix it with the Honduras medium blend for a different depth of flavor. Sumatra is great black, or with cream, it is always on our subscription list.
